The Restore Focus Approach:

Restorative Family Mediators join students and their schools to address struggles they may be experiencing. We bring FOCUS by helping to identify problem areas, removing barriers, setting goals and restoring hope. Together, we sit on the bench of life. We help teens and their families navigate whatever might be standing in the way of reaching their fullest potential.

WHO WE SERVE:

We provide direct truancy prevention programming alongside our partner counties and school districts across Minnesota.

The Restore Program - Student Enrollment Form

Through comprehensive care and support, The Restore Program team invests in students and parents through restorative meetings to make agreements.


Schools and agencies can fill out this enrollment form as soon as attendance issues arise and our Focus Team will contact the student's parents. Our team will contact the family and begin services within 48 hours. Making this referral is the only step you need to take for chronic absenteeism among students to ensure a referral is made. Students who have missed more than 3 full unexcused days of school are considered at risk for a truancy referral.

 

Preventative actions provide a student and their family with 1:1 support to identify hurdles and create individualized plans to create new habits and remove barriers for sustainable change.

Together we will sit on the bench of life and talk through struggles. Students come away

from each meeting
